TIMBER: Our pine furniture is made from reclaimed pine. This timber is rescued mainly from old buildings, which is not only environmentally friendly but also adds to the character of each piece. This wood bears the scars of its past with pride so you will be able to identify old nail hole's etc.
CHARACTER: Timber is a natural resource and as such will adapt to its dry environment. Humidity is the main issue and in a hot home cracks can occur which merely complement the piece and add to its aged character.
FINISH: Each piece is hand sanded three times with progressively finer grades of sandpaper until smooth to the touch. Finally, again by hand, Stripped Wax Polish is applied to every surface before the last exterior coat is buffed by brush and cloth to a pleasant mellow semi-shine.
